In September 2022, FSVC began a program in Mauritania to strengthen public financial management within key government institutions via enhanced budget transparency and audit capabilities.  In September 2023, FSVC launched a second program to enhance women’s engagement in security efforts communities on the Senegal-Mauritania border.

Current Programs

In September 2022, FSVC received funding from the U.S. Department of State’s Fiscal Transparency Innovation Fund (FTIF) to strengthen public financial management.
FSVC received funding from the U.S. Department of State in 2023 to foster regular security discussions between law enforcement units and women in Mauritania and Senegal.
