As Country Director, Mr. Mubarak Abdalla manages FSVC’s project activities, including project design, implementation and monitoring, and pursues business development opportunities in the region.

Prior to joining FSVC, Mr. Mubarak worked as a Program Development Officer and Program Director on USAID-funded programs focused on economic growth, peace, good governance and democracy in Sudan. He also served as a consultant for the World Bank Group, as Program Officer with UNHCR, and as Program Officer with UNDP in Sudan.

Mr. Mubarak obtained a B.Sc. from the University of Khartoum Faculty of Social Science, and a Master’s Degree in Economics from Uppsala University in Sweden.
