Ibrahim Weifane
As FSVC Deputy Chief of Party in Niger, Mr. Weifane supports all FSVC activity in Niger, including activity planning, implementation and reporting. Mr. Weifane has 19 years of experience in development, advocacy and emergency programs, a Master’s Degree in Project Management, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Sciences. In his past roles, Mr. Weifane was responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders (local, regional and national authorities, representatives of organizations and institutions), providing technical leadership on citizen engagement in dialogues, advocacy, civic education, and collective action. Additionally, Mr. Weifane has significant experience working with civil society organizations and implementing civic engagement projects. Mr. Weifane also has significant experience in education, education in emergencies, gender, youth and child labor, youth advocacy and refugees. Prior to joining FSVC as the SHIGA Deputy Chief of Party, Mr. Weifane was the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Niger.
